This week we will:
Language Arts - Christmas spelling
Math - we started "The Christmas Thief" math puzzled booklet
Social Studies - we are learning about buffalo
French - Noel vocabulary and games
Science - we will start building our "mystery project" tomorrow

Thursday is a full day and is the last day of the YEAR for school!

- We collected and graphed data today
- we finished Because of Winn- Dixie
- We made a poster for Ms Blanchard!

Wednesday, December 11th 

- we learned about pictographs and line graphs today.
- we will visit our small buddies on Friday!!

Tuesday, December 10th

- Ski forms due back this week!
- We are learning greater than and less than in math.  Please review at home!!
- We read a book called Great Joy
- ask me what materials we THINK we saw in the Buffalo Kit.

Language Arts
- new spelling words sent home Monday, we will continue reading Becasue of Winn Dixie
Math
- even and odd numbers, problem solving with Mrs Harms on Monday

- we will explore more artifacts from the Buffalo Kit
Science
- we are collecting materials for our last building project that we will start next week
Health
- emotions, reflection of the movie Inside Out

- Social test home with mark in the corner.  Please see previous post from CBE about how to interpret the 1, 2, 3, 4 marks.  Please sign and return test tomorrow!

- Music homework - Listen to two different Opera songs and write down how you feel (note what the songs are).

Tuesday, December 3rd

- we learned about water conservation during the CPAWS presentation
- ask me about the artifacts we looked at in the Buffalo kit today

Monday, December 2

- I have my Social duotang to study for our Social quiz tomorrow.

December 2- 5th this week we will:

Language Arts:
- continue to read Because of Winn Dixie with Ms Blanchard and complete our read aloud booklets
Math
- problem solving with Ms Harms, we will do some games to practice comparing and ordering number and expanded form to prepare for our MATH QUIZ on Wednesday 
Science
- reflection on our complex machines **each student will need 4 bottle lids and 10 popsicle sticks, please bring these in by Friday

Social
- The Grade 4's will have a "Buffalo Kit" to explore from the Glenbow Museum for the next two weeks
- QUIZ on TUESDAY about terms (region, landform, research, identity, natural resources, vegetation) and Alberta's regions.
Health
